Killer V Head Tube Size Change Timeline

When did the Killer V go to 1.5? Because I've seen some that were 1 1/8 and later models that were 1.5 to fit the Headshock.

they went to headshock in about 1997 i think with the killer V900 HT but you could still get the 1 1/8 still on the v900.
as steve said "As long as the rotor/rivets clears the fork, a miss is as good as a mile"

I think from 1992-94 it was the DeltaV hard tails that had the 1.5 head tubes.
In 1995, the KillerV appeared with the 1 1/8" head tube, and the F600, F700 & F1000 were available with a 1.5" DeltaV style frame.
In 1996, the F500, F600, F700, F1000 & F3000 were available with a 1.5" KillerV style frame but only in size small. The KillerV continued with the 1 1/8" head tube.
In 1997, the "KillerV Hard Tail" (HT) appears with the 1.5" head tube. The "KillerV Rigid" continues with 1 1/8". The F500, F700 and F900 had a KillerV style frame with 1.5" head tube, only in small.
In 1998, all KillerVs were 1.5". Some Fxxx and Mxxx series had a mix of 1.5" and 1 1/8" killerV style frame, in size small.
