Jerome Clementz wins Megavalanche Alpe D’Huez on his RZ-140

I just saw posted on the Cannondale site that Jerome Clementz has won the Megavalanche Alpe D’Huez on his RZ-140.
For the moment there does not seem to be much more information around about his win, or the bike he used.

    The official results standings.

I would love to know more about the spec of his RZ140.

Sweet! So much for those folks that believe you can't win races on an all mountain rig!

Its an interesting mixed build he uses. From these pic's it seems to be mainly geared towards an AM spec, but he uses XC race wheels, Mavic SLR (his Moto has SLR's too), and Fox 32 150mm forks ( Talas ??).

The brakes look to be Formula ?

Megavalanche races are Enduro style events. Although mainly downhill, there is also a lot of pedalling and up-hill sections.

Nico in 2nd and Sam Blenkinsop in 3rd where both on Lapierre's. I'm not sure the exact models.

i have been trying to dig up a video of the RZ being raced. If anyone can find one, i like watching bikes in action and see what they can do in the hands of a skilled rider.

Nico's bike is a Lapierre Zesty carbon. Details on video here (sorry, in french...):

Stunning looking rig.. I have always loved the styling and details on Zesty's, but this one stands out!

This is not an RZ being raced ( im not sure what bike it is), but its a helmet cam of the whole race ( 1 hour 15 min) from another rider in the 2010 Megavalanche.

It's not a Jekyll, look like a Rocky Mountain.

The bike in the video I noted sure looks like a Jekyll......it has a pull shock just like a Jekyll, top tube is the same shape etc. Does Rocky Mountain make a pull shock?

The bikes your have pointed out are definitely not 2011 Jekyll's, as neither have top tubes that split towards the rear.

The bike in the video is the 2011 Rocky Mtn Slayer. Cameron Cole rides for Rocky.

Sorry, you're wrong . As robot says, it's a RM Slayer, with a "push shock"
