    Jekyll/Trigger/Trigger29 Frame weights
Anyone know what the weights are on the frames? Looks like I may be getting on one of these and I'm trying to decide which. Weight isn't the only factor but I'm trying to see comparatively how they can be built. I'm coming from an RZ120 that was a 28lb build with a 650B front, heavy tires, and a dropper post. The frame/shock were 6lbs. I've got about 100mi on a Jekyll demo. It pedals really well but the thing weighs 34+ lbs. I haven't had the chance to ride a Trigger/Trigger29 yet. Typically, I'm an aggressive XC/Endurance rider. The Jekyll was certainly a fun bike though. Anyhow, thanks for the info/input.

Dont know the frame weights, but we are likely talking all within a pound of each other, no? So the build is what is going to determine whether you end-up w/ a porker or a weightless wonder. For example, I've seen aluminum RZ's weigh from 23-30 lbs, depending on build.

Unless you plan to do some DH, I'd go Trigger. If you plan to do ANY DH, I'd go Jekyll.

That's a good point. It's just so easy to get wrapped up in the all the smallest details.

I haven't had my Jekyll 2 apart to know the weight of the frame, but as the bike came off my LBS floor and with the addition of eggbeaters and a Reverb dropper post - it's 29.4 lbs. The frame size is Medium.

I looked at the spec on your Jekyll 3. I'm not sure where most of the weight is coming from. Must be the wheelset and tires I guess. Maybe the crankset. Everything else looks like it's stuff right at the diminishing returns price point. What are the weights on the cannondale C2/C3 components? Maybe lose some there but I've always heard their house brand is fairly light already. I'm in the same boat as you with a 2012 Jekyll 4. It's 34lb on a bathroom scale with a dropper post. I haven't changed anything else out yet but I've got some parts on the way. I'm building a new wheelset for it and putting on an X0 crankset. Formula RX brakes will be replacing the Elixir 3's. Answer pro taper carbon bars will be taking the place if the narrow C3 stock bar and swapping out the shifters and derailleurs for X9 gear. It's got a pretty heavy Sektor TK fork on it which i would love to swap out for something lighter but I really like the way it rides. I'll post up the weight here when I get the transformation all wrapped up.
