Jekyll Swingarm: Is it one of the recalled ones ?

    Hi,

I'm tempted by a second hand Jekyll on eBay and I'm wondering about the reliability of the rear triangle.
From the attached photo, could someone tell me quickly if I don't need to worry or just walk away.
    Thanks

    Nope, it's fine.

You want to avoid this one.

    Thanks Mendon
Should always ask before. I just learned that the one I already have in my shed (bought it for a friend initially and have not used it) is of the wrong type.... Should teach me a lesson. When a deal is too nice to be true.... Will use the parts to re-build the new one.

One more thing then, the 2003 model came with a Manitou Black fork.
I kinda like the Headshok I have on the other one (the 2000 model, and I'm also using one on my scalpel) and I would like to swap.
Is it ok to have a 80mm travel headshok on a 2003 Jekyll frame or did they change the frame design accordingly ?

The headshok will be fine, but the bike will be a bit unbalanced with 80mm travel in the front and 120 ( I think) in the rear. How about a Lefty?
