    Jekyll front deraileur

I just bought a 2002 Jekyll frame but it did not come with a front deraileur and I'm having trouble finding one that fits. Can I use a new one or do I have to try and find an old school down pull one?

The stats you're looking for are: 31.8mm Bottom Pull, High Clamp (or "traditional" clamp as some places call it).

I, myself have an 02 Jekyll 800 and I'm running a SRAM X9 that works perfect.

Edit: I just noticed the derailleur I'm running (2009 model) is listed for only $34.98 @ Pricepoint. Maybe your personal favorite shop will pricematch...

Thanks, I ordered a Shimano XT FD-M571DM6 bottom pull top swing form Husky Sports for $21. If it doesn't work I'll try the X9.
    Thanks again.
