    Jekyll 600 or 1000

Has anyone ridden a Jekyll 1000 and a Jekyll 600. I was wondering how the dual front suspension compares with the single lefty.
They have great reductions on the 600 at the moment, but my heart was set on the 1000, my head (wallet) is looking at the 600

Yep, ridden both, and the 1000 is definitely superior at both ends. The Black is pretty wimpy and flexy when compared to the lefty max, and the Swinger controls rear end bob better than the pro-pedal. I'm also a big fan of the new XT dual control levers and brakes - they're the best disc brakes I've used. If you can afford it I'd definitely recommend the 1000, you won't be disappointed.

    How 'bout the 800

In my opinion, getting the jekyll w/o the lefty is like getting a burger w/o cheese.....uhh, sorta. .. And yeah, the fox rear is better in my opion. However, you can still get all these great benefits w/o spending the $ on a 1000. I have the jekyll 800. Twice as nice as the 600, but not twice the cash! I think the 800 was a better choice than the 1000 or above because i wanted to upgrade to SRAM shift/Der. and Raceface cranks anyway. Simply put, I think the 1000 really doesn't offer that much better components then the 800. My advice, get the 800 for the Lefty and the Fox float, hyd. disc. ect. Then upgrade cranks and stuff when u get the $..after you do that, it will be better than the 3000, for less $!

    600

Just picked up the black jekyll 600, I got a great deal on it. I know the 1000 is a better bike but the 600 was half the price and in the best colour (gloss black) in my opinion.
I'll look out for a lefty in the future and as parts wear they'll be upgraded.
Very pleased, can't wait to ride it at the weekend.
