Help Wanted: Lefty 140 Roller Bearing Pins Found Inside Fork Boot !?

I just cut off my old fork boot on my Lefty 140 (FFD); everything was goin just fine, i checked out the shaft for any gouges or alarming scratches and found none. Then I look in the fork boot and find 3 pins that belong in my rollor bearings. So now I'm in a bit of a quandry. IDK if theres anything else loose in the fork itself. Before i found this out, the fork performed just fine, didnt make any noises or anything strange happened. Im a mechanical guy, but not too familiar with this fork yet that i can completely dissasemble it. Any advice? Im contemplating on sending it to cannondale to just overhaul it, or continue to ride the fork if its not that big of an issue.

Help from anyone well familiar with leftys would be much appreciated.

    I wouldn't ride it
For quicker turn around time , better rates and equal to factory
service , I'd suggest you send it to Craig at Mendon Cycle Smith .
He's here online and answers many a Lefty question .

Hmmm, can't see how they got out, without causing any damage. I would definately get it serviced, particularly if it's more than a year old, as it should be done once a year anyway! Also, they don't separate from their friends easily, somethings going on in there.....
