    Headshok loose when locked out

    Hi,

I have an 03 1FG with the super fatty ultra DL headshok. When locked out, there is a decent amount of shock movement still. I have read this is a sign that more oil needs to be added. Is there anyone that could give me step by step directions, or if its something you have to have a lot of specific tools to do? What type of oil does it take?

    Thanks

Welcome aboard. No-one saw fit to answer you, primarily because the answers you seek are as common as dirt around here. See the FAQ's, you'll find what you need. You are correct, low oil means loss of lockout usually. Could be a tired, flattened out seal too though....
