    A good old Cannondale?

    Hi there,

I'm looking to buy a Cannondale bike. Anyone have any recommandation or want to give up his bike?

I doens't really matter the year or model actually. My initial thoughs were a F2000 with a Lefty fork.
I mind the color (aluminium with no paint or mate black).
I don't know much the newer caffeine and others "newer" models (made since 2005 actually... Are they worth?

I want something to bike around everyday and go on trails 2/3 times a week (pretty intense sessions)

I previously had a Jekyll from 2002 that i bought 500 $ but had to sell to move out to Europe. It was a very fun bike to ride. Specially with the XTR brakes. Now i'm back in the US and I'm searching for a good (maybe old) Cannondale around 500 $.

Any idea would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you are near Portland, OR, I have a 1999 (hard tail w/ headshox) 26" wheeled XL F1000 you can have for $50. The frame is disc capable, but came with rim brakes. If the size fits, it would be great for someone to get this bike going again. It would need a new set of brake and shifter cables to be smooth riding.

Hi there! Thanks for the offer! did you mean 50$ really?
I actually have to be in Portand very soon, so that could be a match!
I'm not sure about the size. I'm a bit less than 6 feet.
Would it be a bit tall?

Ah, since I got a bite, the actual price is $150, that was a complete typo earlier. :-) But I'd be willing to discount it to $99. :-) Seriously though, you'll need to verify first that the size fits. Info on the bike is here.

It isn't black, but it is a cool multi color paint that is green or purple depending on the light.

I was about to hand it to my local bike shop (who just started an 'ebay program' where they would post and sell the bike on eBay, take a cut, then give me a store credit), and was going to get down there this weekend. I'll hold off.

    I'll PM you.
