FSA Afterburner BB 30 crank removal?

Iím trying to remove the small ring on my 2011 Scalpel to convert to 2X9.
Crank has to be removed to get at the bolts. Do I need special tools to remove a FSA Afterburner BB 30 crank? Or do you just unscrew the 10mm bolt and knock out the spindle?

Take the bolt out of the non-drive side crank arm, pull that arm off, then pull the drive-side out (this will include the spindle). Usually you can pull it all the way out, you may have to slide it back and forth a couple times to get it all the way out. If you need to pound on it to get it started be careful not to damage the splines on the end of the spindle. Rubber mallet or dead blow hammer works, or a piece of wood against the spindle and a regular old handle.

When you put it back together, make sure you loosen the set screw in the black preloading nut. Back the nut to flush with the non-chain-side crank. Tighten the crank onto the spindle, tighten the black nut against the bearing to preload the BB30 crank bearing, and finally tighten the set screw.
