Flash post mount rear adapter confusion.

Im wanting to replace the standard avids that came on my flash with XT's as thats what i use on most of my bikes.

With the rear being post mount can anyone tell me if the calliper bolts straight to the frame without the need of an adapter with the standard 160mm rotor? or can anyone tell me what adapter id need for a 160mm rotor?

    Many thanks

To me it looks like it would not need an adapter for 160mm. it seems as if Cannondale spec'd the rear to allow the smallest rotor to be 160 which seems weird as most allow for a 140. It just looks as if with any kind of adapter to space it out would push the caliper to far from the rotor. Are you planning on getting shimano rotors too? I'm not a fan of mixing brands.

Yeah I kinda thought the same. I'll have to wait until I recieve the XT's

For now yeah i plan on keeping the avid rotors.

I have a carbon flash and I run a 140mm rotor w/Hope caliper and it is a direct mount without an adapter. For the 160mm I'm almost certain you need this:

I have a flash carbon with 160mm rear rotor and have to run an adapter see link. I know its an avid adapter but I'm using it with MT-8's with zero problems

the above photo is of a alloy flash with standard 160 pm, no mount is required. if it were a carbon flash - Matt116 is spot on.
