Flash 29er carbon 1x10 set up - any advice on MRP chain guide?

Going 1 x 10 on my Flash Carbon 2 29er, unsure which MRP chain guide to use:

    - Should I get the direct mount SE/3 or could I use the seat tube mounted guide?

The seat tube mounted guide looks cleaner, so would like to use this if possible.

    Also will use:

    - Homebrewed spiderless chainring 34T to go on XO Cranks
    - Already have a 11-36 cassette, plan to go 9-36 when Hope releases this.

Also if anyone has any experience of doing this on a Flash 29er I' like to hear your views on how best to execute this.

    Thanks

I wouldn't get a seat tube clamped one, the frame wasn't designed to have something clamped around it's seat tube (is it even round in that area anyway?).
