    F600 seat post diameter

    Hi All,

New to the list, new to my '06 F600. I may want to upgrade the seat post to save weight, but not sure of the exact diameter. The stock post looks to me as 1 1/6" (26.9875mm), but that's with the naked eye and a tape measure. The Cannondale owner's manual is devoid of any bike-specific information.

Also, I've been looking at the Easton EC70 as a replacement. Any opinions on this seat post? What have others used (I'm not interested currently in a suspended seat post)

    Thanks for any advice,
    Howard

All Cannondales have the same specs- the seatpost is a 27.2mm. Sorry.. I don't have any experience with the EC70. Enjoy your new bike.

That certainly applies to all the F series, I Think at least the caffeine 29 is bigger..Perhaps all the caffeines as well. Someone who actually has one of these new things can chime in?

Good point.. at least the F series, Jekyll, Rush and Prophet all have the same size- I have no idea about the 29'ers.
