    F5 vs F7

I know a little about these two bikes and I like the F5 more but is it really worth the 200 dollars more? I realize it has the bigger head tube and has slightly better components but which one is going to be the better deal in the long run?

The F5 has a larger Headtube like you said, so it just gives you more options if you decide to change out the fork later on, you can get a 1,5" or 1.8" fork. If you decide to make it a Lefty down the road, you can do it with the F5.
I got the F5 over the F7, because of the bigger headtube, maybe I should of gotten the F4 with better components, but I like the bike alot for my first mountain bike.

Like Tick Tock said, that is the main diffence (From what i have noticed) is the 1.5 headtube. Plus the upgraded componentry (ive tried both X4 and X5, and X4 sucks)

The F5 also has the Cannondale SAVE Chainstay (Synapse Active Vibration Elimination) designed to reduce high frequency vibrations from the road. I don't know if the F7 has that, i sometimes catch my heel on it.

I went with the F5 because it just felt right, i had ridden many bikes in the same category and this felt the best.
