Is a QR a good idea for a Carbon Frame ?

So far Salsa doesn't work - too high of a profile and/or 30mm isn't right. And their red is more of an orange.

Stumpy - I've been using a QR on my Carbon Blur for years.

Well since Cannondale actually has torque specs printed on the clamp I would think a QR would be a bad idea. How are you going to get that right with a QR? I wouldn't do it myself, but even when I had QR seat clamps I rarely ever moved it anyhow.

Some QRs have allen head bolts with the head exposed. I'm not saying that I would use a QR on carbon, but you could measure some QRs.

Ok, ok. No QR for me, I'll deal with the bolt on clamp. I was only wanting a QR because I tear down the bike after every ride to put it in the trunk. But since I have to unbolt the front wheel I guess I can unbolt the seat clamp just as easily. Thanks for the input.
