F29 BB30 replacement BB bearings?

Sorry about all the questions, I am a bit stressed at the moment since I don't have a bike to ride, and there are still some important races left :(

I am going to have to replace the spider on my Hollowgram Si cranks, and I thought I might also replace the bearings.

Which ones should I get? Can I use the bearings from my old bike? I currently have a 2014 F29 Team, my old bike is a 2013 F29 Carbon 1 (which has X0 BB30 cranks).

Thanks :)

Your bearings may just need a cleaning and repack to get them back to good condition. I would clean them of dirt/grease and see how smooth they feel. If so, just repack em keep on going. Otherwise, yes your other BB30 bearings will work or if you want there's plenty of online sources for bearings. Enduro, Boca, VX, maybe McMaster-Carr or Grainger.

I usually remove the seals, inspect and regrease mine at regular intervals. Not sure if it helps though - the play in bearings is usually so tiny that you can't really feel it unless they're quite worn. I'm not fussy about replacement bearings as long as they're stainless. (non-stainless bearings on an mtb is just daft IMO).

No reason not to reuse your old bearings if they're in good condition. Remove them carefully, though. Too much bashing can pit or damage the races.
