I thought 2008 was the last year for the Rush.

I think that might be for the prophet...... cant remember exactly. I doubt the rush will go before the prophet.

C'Dale rep told me that the Prophet was being phased out in '09

To be replaced by the Rize and Moto

(replace one bike with two...? WTF?)

I like what You are saying Beavola. As i Sold my Rush for something with more travel, I wanted PRophet at first, but then I got Rize. So if Prophet is beeing replaced with two bikes, I geuss I should get both of them

[SIZE=2]I can’t remember whether it was 2 years including 08 or not but there are some threads on the Prophet being replaced that tell you, I personally remember it as being 2 years after 08 but..

The first Prophets were in 2005, first Rush bikes were in 2006.

The Prophet is almost certain to be gone for 2009, the Rush I don't know.

[SIZE=2]But your wrong, I am 100% certain they will both be available for at least 2009, it has been clearly said by magazines and a few other threads on here.

I'll believe you. To me it makes no sense with a 130 and 160 bike, but the Prophet is not some pile of crap and if they put so much money into it, I guess they'd want to keep it for a while.

About a month ago I was trying to get a Carbon Rush Team XL and Cannondale said they didn't have anymore stock (parts build) and they were cutting the line so no more would be avaiable in the future. I guess I got some BS from them then.

Still think it's a shame Cannondale doesn't come up with a new version of the Prophet. Sorry guys, but I don't dig the talk the Rize and the Moto replaces the Prophet because they are both too much oriented bikes, Light Trail and Heavy AM respectivelly, not a competent all arounder like the Prophet. There's no way I'd replace it for any of them and if it ever breaks, I'd get a Heckler instead.

Man, I gave them this idea sometime ago and so far no response... Sorry, but I don't think Cannondale knows the value of their true classics. If so, we would not see different bikes every two years, they would go like SC or Yeti and keep it going and only improving it. For now, I think the Rize should be a bit tougher and be called JEKYLL and the Moto be a bit less intricated at that Hatchet link, have a shorter rear travel at 150mm (although having extra 10mm doesn't hurt) and have a matching 6 inches Lefty Carbon (it could be called ULTRA, MEGA or whatever, since the Max is being used in the Rize and has only 130mm) and be called PROPHET. But what the hell, I'll keep my Prophet till it turns to dust, if you already have seen a true Cannondale ever end. I never had.

Anyway, never mind my opinion. It's just an insane, naked running man talking!
