New question here. Date this M300

I just picked this up at a used store, excellent condition although some of the components are low-end and I'll probably end up putting some more money into it down the road...I'm just curious as to what year the frame was made...any ideas?

more pics if requested...thanks in advance

96 Maybe Looks Like A Caad1 Frame. Does It Have The Triangle On The Headtude Or A C. When Was That Switch. My Guess By The Cannondale Font Is It Has The Triangle And I Think They Switched Around 96. Also, There Isnt The Frame Na Ie Caad1, Caad2, So It Was Before They Put That On The Frames And I Know They Did In 97, My Brother Has A 97 M700

Yes it does in fact have a "triangle" logo on the front, almost looks like an Adidas logo or something...

ok i'm pretty new to the different areas of this sport...why would anyone want a single speed bike? is it for climbing? downhilling? (no way a rigid would be a good downhiller, i took this one out on a mild downhill and i'm still vibrating) or just for cruising around town, what?

Wow, what a good looking machine! I commute on a M300 of the same vintage, though mine has a matt green paint job and isn't as fresh looking as yours. Congratulations on your terrific find!
