    Creeky GXP1 Crankset

I have a Rush 4 with the stock crank set up. It's a bit creeky. Is there anything I can do to quiet this? Lube it, tighten it? Any sugguestions?

When ever mine starts to creak it is the swingarm and shock pivot bolts. Could also be the seat post. Best thing to do is pull, clean and regrease everything.

A creaking BB was discussed recently on another Cannondale thread, along with all the other suggestions on how to eliminate noise on a bike. Helpful, but it's all a bit tedious when you know exactly where the noise is coming from and what the problem is.

I had the GXP2 cranks on a 2008 Prophet 2 and they creaked and flexed. I can't remember how many times I took apart the cranks and BB and greased and cleaned everything. The solution for me was buying a set of XT cranks and BB. No more creaking, just quiet, direct power transfer. I'm not surprised the GXP 1 cranks creak as well. My cranks were awful!
