    Crankset spacers

I ride a Rush alloy 2008 with a Truvativ Stylo GXP crankset. It got a bottom bracket Truvativ GXP and there are 2 spacers (1 per side).
I bought a Truvativ noir crankset with a new GXP bottom bracket (no spacers included).

My question is do i have to put the spacers on the new setup or its meant to be without?

    Thanks

Generally speaking, the spacers should be 2.5mm each and are meant to be used with a 68mm bottom bracket shell. If you have a 73mm shell, you don't need the spacers ( 68mm + 2x2.5mm = 73mm) . Previously, I have owned a 2007 Rush alloy and it had a 68mm shell. I used the spacers but as I recall, I may have used two on one side for a better chain line. The book installation however is one on each side.
