    Couple of questions Jekyll 800

I do not have much experience with Cannondales, but I am looking at a 2003 Jekyll 800 frame. I have two questions though.
    1. Would i have to use a Lefty fork, or can i use any fork?
    2. What length forks is this frame set up for?
    Thanks

    1) There are adapters/headsets available that would reduce the cannondale headtube down to a more standard 1 1/8 (edit: really, I do know the difference between a 4 and an 8....) in order to run basically any fork you wanted. You would need the adapters to run something other than a lefty or fatty however.

    2) The bike: http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/03/cusa/model-3VN8.html
The stock lefty I believe was 80-100mm variable travel if my research serves me correctly.

    I believe you mean standard 1 1/8 not 1 1/4...........

As far as travel goes....One Jeckyll came with a Lefty Max with 130mm of travel....so if you pick any fork between 120-140mm of travel you'll be fine.
Or go to the cannondale website, tech section and check for the maximum fork length allowed in your frame.
