    Convert or replace?

I'm in a huge dilemma and would like to know what you would do:

Convert my alloy Cannondale Rush with 27,5" ZTR Crests and 2x10 SRAM XO. This would cost me around 1000.

Or: buy a new 2013 Cannondale Flash 29 Carbon 3 and ride it stock. I can have a 20% discount since it's last years model. I'd pay around 2200. (Normal price 2799).

I'm thinking the Flash would be a better bike and more future proof. But is it worth the extra 1200 in it's stock condition (some XT but mostly SLX/X7 and WTB Frequency Team rims)?
