I know this general topic has been beaten to death and such but I just want to see what you guys with lefties and this mount are using as far as computers go...

I just want to hear what works and what doesent with this mount before I buy a computer and it doesent work very well...

Im leaning toward wireless and my spokes are round not bladed...

    thank you amigos!!!

If you can swing the cost, a GPS based computer is a great option. The Garmin Edge 305 can be found for pretty cheap these days. It's also great if you have more than one bike.

    thats cool and all but

    1. completely out of my (unemployed) price range (my range is more like 0-$75)
    2. you must not have read the original post as I am asking for computers people use with this specific lefty mount from what i can tell it does not use a mount at all...

im not trying to be rude sorry if i sound that way... thanks for the suggestion...

The lefty mount should work with most computers.

I've used a Cat-eye and Sigma. Both where wireless. I'm currently using a Polar.
Also your spokes shouldn't be a problem. The magnet should fit no problem.

I have the Cateye CC-RD300W wireless. It's a trouble-free, easy to set-up unit. Amazon has it for under $40. The magnet that it came with fits both round and blade spokes.

i recall seeing bike on here with a cat eye mounted directly to the lower leg of the lefty, the magnet seemed to be glued to the rotor, looked interesting! maybe someone can enlighten us, as i would like to know how well it worked.

i've always liked vdo, 5 year warranty.
