    Cheapest new Lefty Hardtail

I want a backup bike for training duty and am wondering what the cheapest deal is for a NEW hardtail lefty (I'm watching eBay and Craigslist for used deals, but would like to support the LBS if at all possible). So far the 2010 F3 looks like the best new deal at $1699 MSRP (I'd negotiate a better end of season price), but am wondering if there will be a better deal in the 2011 line up?

For 2011, the F3 will get a Headshock. Inventory on 2010 F3s is limited, I wanted a small frame but was told only the Nu Team Blue was available as of about 10 days ago. The small size in Jet Black was no longer available from Cannondale, but maybe you can find one at a dealer.

I imagine the 2011 F3 will be lower in price than the 2010 since it will no longer be made in USA and it will feature a Headshock instead of a Lefty.

If you wait for the 2011 models, I would guess that the F2 will be priced higher than this years F3. For me, I would be happy with a Headshock so I'm waiting to see if there is a price drop. But if you really want a Lefty, your best bet for a new bike may be a 2010 model. Good luck and happy trails.

For some they do, but I need another lefty so I can swap wheelsets between my bikes.

The closest thing my dealer was able to find so far was a 2010 F2, which doesn't really seem to be worth the price premium over the F3 in my opinion. If I have to pay a little extra, I think I'd rather step up to a 2011 with 2x10.

Does anybody know the price/specs of the cheapest 2011 with a lefty & 2x10?

Where is Mike's located? I live in Southern MD and would drive up to two hours for the right deal.

well Mikes Bikes is in northern CA but REI carries the F2 also and do belive that they will price match other online retailers. That is if you have a REI close to you since they only ship Cannondales to a physical store.

I called around and couldn't find what I was looking for locally, so I went ahead and ordered a 2011 F1 - now the wait begins!
