    C'Dale History Question

When did Cannondale build (mass produce) their first Mountain bike and what was the model name?

Thanks Broomhandle - here's another question for you: When did C'dale move their company name from the top tube to the down tube on their mountain bike frames?

going thru the catalogs, looks like 1990 mountain bikes had a 50/50 some on the down and some on the top tube and all down tube in 91. road bikes did the same thing in 91, and all downtube in 92.
