Cannondale Headshok Super Fatty SL on a 1993 M800 ?

    Hello.

Does anyone know if a 1999 Cannondale Headshok Super Fatty SL pulled from a 1999 Super V will fit on a 1993 M800 "Beast of the East" ?

The Beast originally had a rigid, Pepperoni fork but is now running an Answer Manitou 3. I'd put the Pepperoni fork back on but I'm the second owner of the bike and never had the original fork. The Super Fatty SL looks like a nice "OEM-looking" upgrade to the bike.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I'm thinking the M800 is not a Headshock diameter head tube. Am I wrong? If so, it'll fit, but if it had a rigid fork on it originally, it's not gonna work.....

Cannondale 1993 M800 has an 1" headtube. This frame doesn't work with any fatty suspension. I used to ride an M800 beast of the east -pepperoni fork- in the early 90's, it's an amazing frame!!

Thanks for the replies, guys. I was afraid it wouldn't work (but hopeful it might).

I agree, the M800 "Beast of the East" is an awesome frame. It traveled with me to Moab, UT and down the fireroads and singletrack at Vail, CO.

Not that it matters in regards to the headshok, but I'm pretty sure the 93 M800 has a 1 1/4" sized steerer / headtube.
