Cannondale 1FG Eccentric Bottom Bracket - new version?

There was some talk here about a new EBB from C'Dale that had the EBB set screw on the non drive side. Anyone hear anything about this. Seems there was someone here from the factory doing some testing.

    Any news?

    Still waiting on this one

Anyone hear about the reversed EBB for the 1FG? Would sure be nice to be able to make the adjustment without taking off the drive side crank arm!

There is a new double wedge EBB that just started shipping. The tensioning bolt can be on either side.

Local dealer... while helpful on the spot tends to be clueless about these kids of things.

    Thanks!

    the old eccentric...

...could be ran on the non-drive side! you just flip it around, the only thing to remember, is that the bb threads are reversed!

The BB also has to be reversed affecting the chainline.

There is also risk of the BB getting over tightened if the BB ever tries to seize up.

So... too many things to worry about when Single Speeding. ;-)
