I am in process of rebuilding my old rigid cannondale for my wife to ride. I was going to build it into a single speed, but I am not going to deter my wife's desire to begin riding. She hasn't ridden a bike in the 11 years that I have known her.
Had it powdercoated last year and just got around to getting a new decal set. Problem is that I forgot where all of my old decals were...and the new kit isn't exactly like the old one. (my old one had a pic of an old mountain house on the head tube, the new ones have a wrench logo).
Anyway, if it helps any of you identify how old my bike is..it is from approx 88-91 MY. don't remember exactly what year I got this bike as I enjoyed my college years way too much.
The bike came with the following components:
-21 speed (seven gear cassette) don't recall the mfg
-suntour XCMaster derailures
-suntour two button shifters
-seguno cranks (probably spelled that incorrectly)
-was originally red in color and had white decal set
-rigid alloy fork and hardtail frame with 1" steerer tube.
I will try to post pics later, but if any of you know were I can get a pic of older vintage dales, I would be grateful.
