Is blowning the damer seals in a lefty DLR2 a common problem? Is there something I could have done to cause this? and what can prevent this from happing again?

Which seals, what are the symptoms? It's not too common, so therefore, it's all your fault

You have a bigger issue. Possibly a cap that came unscrewed, or some such thing. Do you have a large quantity of oil leaking out from your boot? It's not a comon thing, I would get it checked out asap.

I didn't see any oil leaking out. It has pressure just no dampening. I'll have to get it checked out.

    Thanks

Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! don't ride it

Those symptoms are exactly the same as what happened to my fork about 15 minutes before the whole thing fell apart!!! Do not ride it. I did thinking it was just a loss of dampening ... accompanied by loss of the lockout... See the recall notice on these forks!
