    Birthday present

Well not mine, this one is gonna be for my wife. More pics to follow:

So.......Who can tell me what seatpost diameter fits this frame (it's a 2009)? I am measuring 30mm but could be wrong. I need to get this right the first time in order to have it ready for my wife's birthday. I have searched the cannondale site but I am not seeing this bike.

They are many seatpost sizes within 0.2-0.4mm of each other, so you'll want to use good calipers or hopefully someone else will chime in with the exact number for you. 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm are three of the more popular sizes for aluminum frames.

On my seat clamp on my Bad Boy, it states the post size - 31.6 , and I believe that the Badboy frame is classified as a Caffeine frame.

    Your frame appears to be a 2009 Caffeine F4. My 2009 Caffeine F29 2 takes a 31.6mm seatpost. My fiance's 2008 F5 CO2 takes a 31.6mm seatpost. All the other Cannondale's I've owned through the years took a 27.2mm seatpost.

Almost positive 34.9. I would wait for conformation though.

Thanks!! My wife has been buggin me to ride my Prophet on a regular basis and of course my response was "Umm.............................NO". I bought her this out of guilt for denying her the joy of riding my bike. Hey, bike theft here is on the rise and I would literally die if they were to steal my bike from her. So soon enough she will have her own steed.
