    Anyone recommend a bearing grease?

I cant find Royal Purple Ultraperformance grease in the UK. Can anyone recommend an alternative to lube the bearings on my Lefty Max (under the concertina boot)? Thanks for any suggestions.
P.S. I know I'm probably being a bit anal but this this will be my first time!!!

Any quality grease should do, I use Phil Wood grease mostly because I have lots of it... Your LBS should have something, just ask them for quality bearing grease.

    Nice catch

I use Du Monde Tech, but don't know about availability in the UK. As Dan said, Phil's great, but any waterproof grease should do the trick.

Thanks Mendon I shall look out for waterproof bearing grease. Finnish Line seems to be the quality option locally.

Straight or Gay the joke works just fine. Rule Stays though!! By the way, that DuMonde stuff is really good. They make a few really good products.

Yep, love the stuff. Their original formula lube is the bomb. I sell it, not many shops seem to, but it's worth digging for, I promise

I used Finish Line's Teflon Grease.
But i think i used too much of it in my rear hub Now the freehub doesnt "clik" anymore. I think it got from the hub to the freehub. I didnt tought it could go there. How much grease should we put into each side of the hub? Just enough to stick the balls in there or less or more ?
Now i'll have to disassemble everything and wash it and do it again.

What kind of oil should we put in the freehub?

    Regards.
