I have a coule of older bikes and my 1999 F3000 had its Headshok serviced by just dropping a newer cartridge into it (which updated it with a great new lock out knob and I believe a tad more travel?).
I was wondering if anyone knows (or could tell me how to figure out) if the same could be done for my old 1997 SV with a Fatty SL (currently with no lock out)?
I already called Cdale and but I dont have a spanner tool handy to remove the upper (may come down to it though
