Anybody have a Cannondale F5000SL they want to sell?

    Hi Guys,
I am looking to buy a year 2000 Cannondale F5000sl.
I have always loved the way this bike looked. Back then, I was not able to afford one, and now that I have the funds, I cannot find this beautiful bike!
If you know of one for sale, or if you are selling yours, let me know ASAP!
    Thanks,
    Tommy

Don't you want a more recent, up-to-date, improved frame? Even though these were excellent, today's Cannondales are even better! Good looking bikes are great but performance prevails! It might be hard to find one in good conditions... 7-8 years later. Check the Taurines or more recent alloy hardtails: they are both lighter, more comfy, stiffer where needed, softer where it should...

Older high-end Cannondales are sooo nice, though. Especially the team-issue hardtails.

Might find one in good condition through http://retrobike.co.uk, although I'm not sure it's old enough yet for these guys.

I agree that getting one of the new models would make more sense, unless you get a really good deal on the F5000SL. Otherwise, one thing you could do is wait for the 2008 models to come out and find yourself a '07 Taurine on sale

    Hi Guys,
While it's true that the new frames may be better than the old ones (not by much in my opinion), I find that the recent cannondale hardtails just look boring! I really love the look of the flashy old Cannondales. The quad stickers...the flashy paint jobs. It seems that when Cannondale was with Volvo, the bikes were more creative looking. Now all they have is just boring paint schemes. I wish the Mountain Bike program managers from Cannondale could take a clue from their Road Division, because some of the latest Road bikes look absolutely beautiful (Team Liquigas) with the black and green scheme and the quad stickers.

I hope the 2008 has something better to offer me!
    Thanks,
    Tommy

The newer frames are also slacker in HT and longer in wheelbase (In similar size). Im selling my old F3000 frame to get a new Caffeine because it alsways seemed a tad too small & twitchy (even though its the proper size).

I am a proud owner of an F5000sl Volvo team replica. Sorry I don't want to sell it and I hope you have found one by now.

i'd love a taurine in volvo team colours. if cannondale did a limited run of retro colours on modern frames they would clean up.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for your help! I actually did find a F5000SL frameset. It is in MINT condition.
I am currently building her up, and my projection is for a sub 19lb bike.
    I will keep you updated.
