    Alternative Lefty Stems

I am sure this has been posted, but I could not find it....

I am interested in some lightweight stem options for a Lefty.

    Anybody?

Nope, they don't make the Si XC3 in 110.

The hope ones are cool looking and come in 90 and 110 mm. I like the red one!

Although, from what Dan G said, they a tad heavier than the std (non XC3) stem.

    -5 degree- part number QSD110-5318/BBQ

    Hello everyone!

I need to know if I can put a Cannondale XC3 SI stem with 90mm / -5 in a Flash Hi-mod using a lefty suspension and a flat handlebar? I ask this because I was told that probably would have to be a +5 stem because with the -5 the handlebar would hit the lefty!?

Thank`s for your help and if someone is using this setup please post some pictures?

If you have one of the new Leftys with the OPI Alloy upper, a -5 x 90mm will work. The carbon uppers are larger in diameter and get really tight.

They actually do.. my 09' Rize (sz Large) came in 110mm +5. Yes I was a bit surprised when I saw the marking on it. I thought they make 90mm, 100mm, and 120mm only.

Just jumping in here, but anyone know from where I could obtain (pref. in the UK) a spacer to fit under the stem to raise it up the steerer tube?

Does a std. 1.5" spacer fit over the Cannondale HeadShok steerer? Or does one need to get special Cannondale versions? In which case, where from?

So, are you saying that a std. 1.5" spacer will fit over the Cannondale HeadShok fork tube?

Eliflap, That camelback water bottle looks a bit heavy for one of your bikes! There has to be a lighter bottle out there?

Along the same lines, does anyone know if the OPI -15 x 90mm will fit? I have the OPI -5 x 90mm right now and it already a pretty tight fit but I am looking for a lower handlebar position.
