Aesthetically speaking, C'dale's down tube in the hardtails

I have an F7 and I can't seem to like how the down tube tapers upward. Looks weird. I know it's done for a reason, supposed to strengthen the BB area with the thicker end there. Most bikes have the down tube taper downward. I prefer that or no tapering at all.

The more time you spend riding it and looking ahead on the trail, the less time you will have to ponder the incompetence of those damn Cannondale designers ..damn them for building such a sweet handling bike!

I'm more concerned with the lack of traction on those tires. It looks like someone wore down all your knobbies.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but seriously, why did you got a Cannondale then? I'm not 100% sure but I think Cdale is the only manufacturer to offer this design, right?

Some guys claim they don't care how a bike looks as longs as it performs. For me it's a 50/50 thing, a bike has to look nice too.

I really don't remember if I noticed this design when I bought it. I like the simple and traditional hardtail frame of the Cannondale. I'm not really dissing this engineering design, I'm just saying that I'm still not used to seeing the down tube taper up now that I'm aware of it

Park it next to a blue wall and then it won't seem as tapered

I know its a size small but for me, the low toptube looks more weird than that downtube.
