26" Tire help for my Jekyll

Hi I am riding 2001 Cannondale Jekyll with a Lefty with 26" Mavic Crossmax Wheels and 2.0 Hutchinson Python Silver UST tires for a long time now. They have been a great tire! I am looking into replacing them and go with 2.1 or 2.2 front tire and a 2.0 rear tire. I was thinking of Continental Race King UST. Or Staying with Hutchinson Python UST none Silver tires. Also what do you think about riding with the bigger front tire. Or should I run Tubeless and use Sealant?
    Any info would be Great!
I am looking for Speed with traction. I do lots of trail riding and racing with friends. I do not want a heavy tire. Because we maybe out for hours. Plus My Bike is a large and is just under 26 pounds.

Tires are largely a regional thing. What works for SoCal/AZ/TX is not a good choice for....places not dry, gravelly, dusty.

You'd have better luck asking in the regional forums, or your local bike shop.

Thank you for your input. My local bike shop only has continental tires.
I will ask around at my Mountain Bike park.

I got my SCHWALBE RACING RALPH UST EVO Tubeless 26" x 2.10. WOW I like the tires more than I ever would of thought. They hookup amazingly well and roll very smooth.
