The LBS at my area said maybe a month or two waiting time, is this true?
Does anyone have the 2014 Trail SL 29erís yet?

I don't see any big benefits from 2014. It says 2014 gets a new lighter frame, but looks like the same to me. Might get a better deal on closeout 2013 model.

LBS don't have any more 2013 available for my size.
2014 have better specs than 2013 for almost the same price.

I like the paint job better. Other than a claimed lighter frame I don't see any difference in components except shimano vs FSA cranks. This comparing SL1 since that is what I have.

I canít wait to try the SL 1 and SL 3 to see the difference of the air and spring fork.

If I had to do it all over again I would of waited to get a better deal on a spring fork SL4 or lower. I love the frame on the SL's and if you get sucked into the upgrades like many others you'd want to save up for a better fork than the gold or recon. (reba or fox). If you're happy with the new 2014 Gold or Recon forks then these new SL1 SL2 SL3 bikes will be awesome for you.

I've also upgraded many components like cranks, front derailed removal, chain ring 1x10 setup and shifter.. However for the fork I probably won't upgrade since Recon to Reba for me isn't as big as an upgrade.
