2014 lefty pbr 100 leaking oil?

The lockout and rebound know is constantly "wet" wil oil. It seem like it is leaking there is this normal? <100 miles on the fork.

Sure it's not grease to keep the o-ring lubricated around the rebound knob?

Assuming that you hang the bike to store it?

If so, stop, and it will too.

There's a few tiny O rings that hold the oil back in that area, one likely got torn during it's build. Once the bike's upright, there's little reason for the oil to move upwards.

It can then get taken care of when you get the fork serviced at the normal interval.

Still wet after cleaning it up and leaving it upright, yeah, get it checked out.

I don't hang it. That's troubling. Hoping it's just because it's new. Seems to work ok and the rebound and lockout work fine. I will watch it and maybe check with the shop. The other bad thing is that the shop I bought it from knows very little if anything about the fork.

Not grease. It's thin and covers the red part of the knob.

Sounds like one of the very thin o rings is torn, nothing you or the shop did.

The shop doesn't need to know much, just Cannondales phone #.

It will be covered under warranty, simple fix really. Just too bad it happened to you.....
