I tried to adjust my front brakes because of wheel drag and I couldn't seem to do it. So, I took the brake cylinder off and saw that the wheel still had a lot of drag. Upon loosening the hub bolt, it spins freely.
Has anyone else had this problem? Bearings seem ok. Solutions???
Maybe you used too much force to tighten the bolt?
Also, make sure you grease the rubber seal which is a part of the bolt assembly.
Undo the bolt retaining cap, separate all the pieces, clean them and lube the rubber seal, and put it all back.
Don't use too much force on bolt retaining cap nor the bolt itself.
It's also a good idea to clean the lefty's axle and apply grease on it, just try not to get any on the rotor or the brake caliper
I like to keep all those things well greased as it helps reduce friction and keeps water away.
