2013 Lefty XLR fork guard brake housing clamp

I have a 2013 Scalpel 1 and the brake housing clamp has broken off from Lefty fork guard. Has anyone else had his problem? Any great ideas on how to re-attach this thing?

Yes, that happened to me too, and I've read about others. If you can find two screws, you could solve it temporarily.

I told my LBS, and they got a new fork guard. Apparently the screws can't be replaced as such.

I'd go to my LBS if I were you.

I fed a small zip tie through the holes, and then another one around the cable and zip tied them together, works like a charm. This has happened on every Scalpel of the guys I ride with, and there are now 4 of us with this same issue. The brake hose clamp is a joke, but considering how awesome the rest of the bike is, can't be too upset...
I can post a pic if you would like to see my solution....

I should have mentioned in my post that after I got a new fork guard, it's been perfect. No problems at all.

Maybe it was a bad batch? Seems like it happened to lots of people.

Thanks guys. I'll try to get the bike shop to warranty the fork guard. If not I'll try the zip tie method.

I had the same issue. I noticed the screws were small but the hardware store did not have any that small. I found a cheap calculator that I did not use and I robbed the screws from it and they fit perfectly.

First week on my new Lefty and the screws attaching the brake housing clamp to the guard were gone. Good job Cannondale!

The zip tie idea is perfect. Might even have saved a gram or two!
