New question here. 2011 RZ One Twenty 2 wheel weight?

Ive done some searching and have been unable to come up with an answer...

I ordered a 2011 RZ One Twenty 2 with the lefty (coming in next week, cant wait! and going to be my first lefty). I budgeted getting some wheels to save some weight.

it lists the rims as Mavic XM 317, spokes as DT Swiss Competition, and Hubs as the SL front and Shimano M525 rear.

Using various websites to try to piece together the total weight by each component, it appears the SL hub is 106 grams (probably without hub cap and bolt), spokes as 190 grams, and the rim as 440 grams (total front wheel weight as 736 grams). The rear M525 appears to be 512 grams (total rear weight 1142 grams).

Does this seem right? It doesnt seem like there is much weight to be saved in the front, maybe that front weight is also less bearings? the rear does seem like an average factory wheel weight from my experiences.

Another '11 RZ 120-2 owner here. OP, sorry I cant help you w/ weights, but I can congratulate you on one awesome ride. Congrats - you'll love it!

Curious, what wheelsets are you guys switching to, how much do they cost and what kind of weight do you (intend to) save?

Are the XM317's junk or what?

I was contemplating going with the Mavic ST wheelset... but from what im seeing based on weights on the interwebs... The front would weigh the same. The rear is where the real savings would come in... about 300 grams...

im looking forward to GUSSY's findings..
