    2004 Gemini

Is the 2004 Gemini equipped with the 2004 Breakout SPV and the 2004 Fox Pedal Pro. I'm getting the impression that Cannondale is equipping the 2004s with leftover and outdated 2003 components.

    Gemini 2004

The 2004 line has all 2004 parts. The 900 gets the Vanilla r propedal and the Breakout TPC. This fork is 130/150mm. The 2000 gets the swinger 4 way coil and the Breakout Plus. This fork is 150/170mm. The 3000 gets the swinger 4way coil, and the Super T. The 900 has the same swingarm as last year, with QR. The 2000 and 3000 get a new swingarm with a thru axle to stiffen up the rear end. Hope I helped.

I haven't tested one but they all look like a good ride. My local Performance store has good price on the 900. I don't even want to know how much a 2000 or 3000 is Maybe when the '05's come out I'll try an '04

    Cannondale Gemini 2000

The price of a a Gemini 2000 is about 2700 which really is not that bad considering the part spec. I think it is a better deal than what you get for a Bullit. If you get a Bullit you do not even get pedals.

    gemini rips!

just test rode a 2004 gem 2000 on the north shore. pretty snowy but its easy to see that this bike is amazing. the parts spec is perfect. rear thru-axle. swinger 4-way on back. manitou breakout plus on front. this fork is incredible. stiffer than any triple crown, believe it or not. so plush. 7" of plush plush travel. SPV valving. unreal. and this bike is only $3200 Canadian here in Vancouver, compared to $4000 for a bullit, which i rode last year. and the bullit is heavier and has a poorer parts list, a shorter warranty (cannondale has 3 year warranty vs. 1 yr for s/c).

this is a no-brainer. get one. you can even get a 2003 gem 900 here for $2300! it has the 6" breakout without spv (still so nice though).
