    2001 P-Bone Shock (permanently lock?)

    Hello Everyone,

First time poster. I own a 2001 Cannondale F400 with a P-Bone shock. I'm a little older these days and no longer mountain biking due to a back surgery but still love to get out and ride my bike around the neighborhood and light trails. I'm pretty novice when it comes to working with bike suspension. Is there anyway I can permanently lock my shock through any sort of small modification - or - am I stuck buying an all new fork?

Any thoughts on what I can do to lock my shock permanently would be greatly appreciated.

If there is now way to lock it down - any thoughts on a replacement fork for my F400 so that I no longer have front suspension, since I'll only be riding on the road?

    Thanks all,

    Charlie

I just thought I'd mention that my Headshock (P-Bone) is one of the headshok versions that has no form of lockout lever at the top, no way to lock it out period.

I got a used bike with the p-bone and it doesn't ahve the top damping dial...so you mean it does't come with one?
