06 CDale Rush Crankset Replacement Issue

Im trying to replace the original crankset in my 2005 Cannondale Rush 600 with a new Shimano XT.
I have been able to remove the nondrive crank arm and the opposite drivetrain, Im now at the point I need to remove the bearing cups.
I have a Park BBT-18 but have been unable to make either side bearing cup budge, Im mainly focusing on the non-drive side to start and turning counter clockwise.
I havent been able to find the info I need by searching, can anyone help steer me in the right direction, I dont have much experience working on bikes. Thanks for your help.

Take it to a bike shop before you destroy the BB threads.
