I am new to 29'ers but the Canfields look like something I would be interested in with their slacker geometry. I am leaning towards the nimble since I generally like steel and like the SS option, but the yell is a lb. lighter so a yell geared is close to a nimble in SS mode. Also the nimble make be too slacked out for racing.
Any ideas which would be better for a race like the Vermont 50? I haven't done much racing in the last few years but am thinking of signing up for a couple endurance ones this year. My trail bike (soon to be changed to a transition covert) is not going to cut it for races. thanks!
