"The One" Model Year Changes?
Looking at buying a used One frame as a DH bike replacement. What have been the changes in recent model years?
there haven't been too many large changes in the One since 2011 that I know of. Before 2011, the One was a more light-duty AM bike by today's standards. 2011 on, it's an AM to DH ripper. The 2013 has a CNC milled rear triangle brace, where the 2012 has welded tube/plate. The 2012 also added a few little braces and changed the gussets at the head tube. They seem like mostly cosmetic changes, but I am only guessing there. Others may know more than I, but I think that the 2011 had a slightly lower BB height than the 12 and 13. But to my understanding, the changes seem pretty minimal, mostly little things. i'd say anything 2011 and newer would be awesome. And of course the newer the model, the more impressed your friends will be when you tell them
PS- I have heard practically nothing about the 2014 One. They might just be busy, but that could also mean they have big things planned for it. Just guessing, but I'd personally bet on the latter of the two. The Brothers seem to like to surprise-attack the internets when they put out new toys.
tangaroo: What electrolytes do chicken and turkey have again?
rck18: All of them, because they're meat.
info coming soon
I saw this a few days ago, looking forward to the 2014s!
