very nice build and the gif is awesome.

also curious where you are going to save weight. your replacement parts look like they will be heavier.

Thanks guys! I'll be taking her out tomorrow on a long Dh ride with a uphill at the end. I'm sure she'll do fine.
Dropping weight will come mostly with the new wheels. The current set up...Loaded rims and tubes are heavy.. The new 823 wheelset and running tubeless should shave off quite a bit. Then the seat post...I currently have the ks (weighs a ton compared to the Thompson masterpiece). Then the minor things such as the seat, handlebars and possibly cranks.
We'll see...again...I'm hoping to drop that much weight. Hoping to be the key word

Was able to take her out to Mammoth this past weekend. First day of lift assist DH trails was on the Jedi and second day was on The One.

I love the CCDB AIR...I have it on both The One and Jedi.

The One with the CCDB AIR was amazing! It handled all the gnarr stuff that the Jedi also had no problem with. From the small braking bumps to drops the shock and suspension handled everything with ease. The only difference was... With the Jedi's rearward travel you would get a slightly faster run through the rough stuff.
I did like the way The One jumped. The One had a more natural feel for jumping (The best way for me to describe it...is that the Jedi seems to have a delay on the rear hitting the lip and The One hits the lip when expected. )
I also let my cousin take it for a run (Who was riding his M9 the whole weekend) and now he is selling his M9 for The One

Here are a couple of shots riding The One:

As for pedaling...It seemed fine with the minor pedaling I did. The geometry is definitely better for pedaling compared to the Jedi. I'll write another review on pedaling if I ever decide to take her on a trail that requires it I will say...The One did pedal a lot better than my VPX (with a similar set up).
