Ok with the obvious aside, I've always loved the super cheesy "SmashWagon"! That's it, I'm done, good luck and flame on.

I thought of that one as well and I like the sound of it. I didn't post it as I figured "the friendly ghost" wouldn't be the image they wanted. But when I read your post the jab at the competition occurred to me. Now I really like it.

OK, this may be a bit too long, but since lawyers love their Latin, how about the Latin word for Riot: Luxuria

Since Canfield is a gambling card game (Solitaire) my vote is the:

    Canfield King

Also like Canfield Trip (as in Can Field Trip)

    Help us name our frame

    Given the wheel size, try
    Rowdy
    Melee

Since you have Jedi, why not (The) Force, ie Canfield Bros Force. Which reminds me Canfield 'Balance'

Being a YS owner and have hope for
an FS equivalent back then and in honor of the frame, Canfield Bros YFS

When I was a kid, I was a huge fan of the Transformers, yea the 80's series. Why not pickup any cool name from any rare Autobots or Decepticons and use it? With that concept, will there by any copyright infringements violated?

For one, 'Riot' is synonymous to 'Brawl', which just so happen to be a robot's name

Not sure if this has been posted or is relevant, but the riot trademark is pending opposition. RIOT Trademark of PCS EDVENTURES!, INC.. Serial Number: 87183799 :: Trademarkia Trademarks

There might be a chance to save the frame badges if you give a heads up.

Seems to be a lawyer with a lot of Drone products under his belt, Rexford has done a lot of work with Thrust-UAV and it looks like the Riot 250R is the model of drone for petition.

Personally I think the Canfield Banter would stick well.

    Here are some ideas:
    1) Rage. If there are copyright issues, how about mountain rage, or mountain riot?

I'd like to thank everyone for the support and so many great name ideas. This has been fun watching and trying to decide on the most suitable name and so we have a winner. Congratulations carbine_275, you where the first to post "TOIR". Just a letter flip and still has a cool meaning, radical. This word has nothing to compete with online where a majority of the names we like had already been used, even R10t has been used by Fire Eye as a hub designation. We're excited about putting this behind us and getting out and ripping up the TOIR!

There's another variant without the accented O, which is just toir, which means 'radical'.

I call that a winner in any language ;-)

This is brilliant. I'm so bummed it didn't get chosen.

But when Lucasfilm [edit: Disney] sends a similar demand, the Jedi can become the Red Eye, Jet High, or something like that.

Me to, I thinknow they're going to flip the R so it still be Riot in spirit.

I suggested TOIR exactly for that reason. The fact that it's a real word (Irish), that happens to translate as 'radical' makes it even better, IMO. I mean, who doesn't want to get toir on their Canfield Riot?

    I like Riot29.

You would think that should differentiate it enough from whatever else is trademarked as Riot.

Is there another bike with trademark Riot?

Regardless, the Riot sticker is not coming off my bike!

Is this going to be a running change to the existing Riot? Or does this only apply to the upcoming carbon Riot? I'm of two minds debating whether to wait for the next iteration or to get the Riot while it's still labelled as is!

This word has nothing to compete with online where a majority of the names we like had already been used, even R10t has been used by Fire Eye as a hub designation. We're excited about putting this behind us and getting out and ripping up the TOIR!

    Grats to the winner!

Even though none of my names were picked I think it's freakin cool that you guys put it out there and that we have the community for it. I've been drooling over Canfield bikes for years and I hope to replace my old school Cdale Prophet with one just as soon as my bank account catches up with that idea.

    Ride on friends.
