    Fox 34 140 on Yelli

Who's all running it? Just sold my 100 and ordered a Fox 34 140. Hoping I made the right decision. I know climbing will be a bit tougher but I am hoping I will be more confident on the downhill rough parts.

Lotsa people running 140mm forks on Yellis. I don't have any problems climbing on it with a low rise bar & no spacers under the stem.

It will make the bottom bracket height pretty high, though. If you need the extra ground clearance, great! If not you'll probably notice the higher center of gravity in the corners. I changed mine to 650b wheels to lower the overall height of the bike & love it.

Well with the 100mm I was always having pedal strikes and rubbing rocks. Was getting annoying.

Run both 120 and 140. I liked both for different reasons. At 140, the YS is like an enormous BMX bike that encourages you to ride far outside hardtail territory. Bike seemed like a more efficient "all-around" when set at 120.

I run a pike 150 on my n9 and love it. I have no complaints about any aspect of the way it rides.

I run a Fox F34 140mm on my Yelli and it handles like a dream at 140mm. That said, I am selling my Fox to put in a 140mm RockShox. I just like the way RS feels more...

140 is solid and you can always space it down. I'm running a Rev dual-position 140/120, which is quite a good fork to have for the yelli -- the 20mm drop makes a huge difference for climbs on it. A Pike dual-position would be even better.

    I tried the 120, 140 & 150 (Pike),
The bike handle best on 120 but was also very good on 140, with the 150 I felt that the front was a bit too high.
    Now I have a 130, I think it's OK.

Keep in mind those F34's use ALL the travel available on the stanchion. My wife has a 120mm Fox F32, and my 140mm F34 only had 10mm more stanchion...

    It's probably off a Yeti SB95. Those came stock with a 34 120mm.
