Chain guide for Yelli with square taper cranks

I just bought a Yelli Screamy to replace my Voodoo Dambala. I ran the Vooddo 1x9 with square taper cranks by using a Paul Components frame mount chain keeper. Because the BB shell on the Yelli is behind the seat tube and much lower than the seat tube junction, I don't think a PC chain keeper will work (the Yelli frame hasn't arrived so I am figuring this from pictures of the frame). It appears all bottom bracket mount type guides require an external BB. What have you guys that are running square taper cranks used for a chain keeper?

Every square taper BB I've ever owned had a flange on the outside of the drive side cup that would press up against the BB shell. I've used an old MRP chain guide w/ a square (XT) BB on my past DH bikes. But every BB mount (ISCG) adapter I've had to use was tight fitting enough to work w/ that flange so in theory, any guide should work, yeah?

    Thank you for the response

What you say makes sense. The reason I asked the question is that all of the websites I have looked at for BB mounted chain guides say they are for external BBs. I will check into this further.

MRP has the direct mount chainguide in the 1X line-up that works good.

I think the Yelli's BB shell and stays has room to allow for this:
Most of these adapters has a relief side and a flat side. You can face the relief side towards the frame and use the flat side for the guide if your chainline will allow it, and this would remove any doubts about ext cup clearances (what I did w/ my old bikes). But since the cup flange is so small on the square tapers, my thinking is you'll not have any compatibility issues.

BTW, the older MRP guides had these tiny set screws built in to a lip that cradled the BB shell which dug into your BB shell to prevent the guide from rotating. I've always NOT used them and opt'd for blue Locktite instead. A bead around the BB cup flange and the guide... The other option may be carbon friction paste on the BB shell lip/guide/and flange. Just some food for thought.
